It wouldn't worry me, I like to touch them. It's quite sexy, and tells a story of your life. I have a large scar belly button to pubes - no one I have met even mentions it.

I'm usually interested in how they were aquired, to me scars are like ink, skin character, I like to trace tattoos with my fingers, or mouth, x

I wanted mine tattooed over but the tattoo guy talked me out of it as he said it's more to see the scars as they really do tell your story ,I'm not proud of them but they do tell a story of all my bike crashes

It depends on many things. Mostly it wouldn't put me off. If body parts looked 'mangled' it might put me off. I wouldn't give that as my reason for rejection though.

But that's my problem not yours.

Most women who love men won't worry about them.

Scar tissue doesn't tattoo the same as 'normal' skin. You could have a tattoo around it.

Hope he's ok ..get the scar cream from boots it does help the scar heal up better as in not a painful due to tightening of the skin

I gave up bikes at Frisky's request 13 years ago... I still miss them every day...

Frisky has an anchor scar on her right breast and a large S shape scar in her right arm pit. Both from breast cancer and a caesarean scar from 3 c sections...

No one has mentioned them, we don't even mention them on our profile anymore...

Scars on others really don't bother me, in fact some are sexy.

I have one on my lower back from surgery but I can't see it so forget its there, but I have one on my top lip from where I split my lip wide open a few years back that I hate and am very conscious of...but most people say they dont even notice it unless i mention it...gotta love makeup & good lippy

I love scars, they add character.

That said I've had my wrist scar tattooed over, mainly because seeing the scar made me want to be careful with it when there is really no need anymore.

Blimey I thought I was bad lol, worst I had was coming off a 350lc on gravel bloke says "Your ok mate just don't look at your right hand" huh huh, Looked to find my thumb next to my wrist pointing at my elbow, weirdly until I looked I had no pain. Got left shoulder ball damage & left knee damage too, but not bad considering a life of bikes (since 12) & offs & being a DR for 10+ years..

Hope they don't give you too Much grief when older, mine stopped my riding all year round, just wasn't worth the pain after tbh..

You know more people should read what you've just wrote. I've been reading some nonsense about cliques on the forums and after reading your post it makes you realise how we can make mountains out of molehills over nothing that's really important.

That's great news!

Must admit if I could take the scars off our daughter & have them I would, but as said she has a story to tell. Would rather she didn't have to tell it at such a young age that's all.

I've met a few with scars from various incidents. Never been an issue and is certainly a talking point. I've played with guys who have had a hip replacement, knee surgery, ankle surgery, etc

Most recently a friend lost his big toe due to a sporting injury. I'm helping with his rehab
