went for a meet there earlier the journey should have taken 40 mins but thanks to the traffic it took nearly 2 hours and people dont know how to drive. being a northener it was a shock when i first moved down at the amount of traffic jams down south. little rant over

I was dragged up in Luton and lived there for 40 years before moving up to Newcastle last year when Siren & I got married.

She's never quite believed me when I've mentioned my utter infuriation at the level of traffic down south. Even now, when I go back down every other weekend to see my daughter it drives me insane and I can't wait to get home.

This is also the reason I opted for permanent nightshift, clear roads and utter peace. Perfect!

Notting

I passed my driving test in london.

And used to SPEEEEEEED up and donw the M1 visiting Notts as you never get to go more than 5mph in london during day.

Dont miss the driving, and prefer to go M25 if poss when visiting as most mates live south london, as that Edgeware Road.....eeeee,by,gum!!!!

I must have been lucky. Whenever I've been to London the traffic hasn't been that bad, but then I've not tried it during rush hour

Hmm, the Rat and Parrot pub in Putney. My favourite pub south of Peterborough, because it actually sells bitter. That and the fact that they where about to shut down for a refurb, and selling it 50p a pint to empty the barrels
