Quite a few weeks ago i got a message that consisted of three letters i just ignored it and forgot until i got the very same nessage a couple of weeks later from someone else.

Anyway jay and i where talking about silly messages and straight away he told me what it ment.

Hry means how are you. So now i got a 73 year old teaching me modern lingo

I hate text speck mostly because I don't understand it, me boys text me sometime and I have to text back "English Please"

I'd of thought the same, wish people would write proper words. Text lingo should only be used on text messages where you have limited characters to use.

I would of ignored it too, as I see that as being lazy! If their lazy at messaging me God only knows how lazy they will be in the bedroom x

Thing is i might of worked it out if id even known it was text speak and not just three randum letters.

My son doesnt message me in text speak as he knows it would get ignored.

Text speak died long ago for us, gone are the days where you had to save characters or it would charge you twice for one text

Being unable to use the thing, I asked the kids on the estate to show me.

I was pilloried by fiends for "texting like a Jamaican" for years.
