"My girlfriend's signed up for it, it's a cracking medal. A lot of her club did the July challenge and the fitness gains were noticable. We're off to Wales for a short holiday and to do Race The Train in a couple of weeks and have had to plan some additional runs in to the trip to keep her on track for the 100 miles!" Great stuff is that the Snowdon train to summit race. That's a hard one. And them 100 milers are tough.. Good luck with the race an training

"When my back is fixed I'm not taking up running Impressed by those who do " Try cycling. Apparently 90 rpm is equivalent to a good marathon pace... I've got a bad back so stopped running and jumped on the bike... Still early days but better for your joints...

"Good on you! Pop the blister with a needle and crack on! Remember 90% of the battle's in your head! " I used to cut off the skin and pour after shave onto the open wound - a little extreme but it worked for me!

Did you get fitted for your new trainers as they shouldn't of caused you too much trouble?
