I set fire to a factory.....while I was away on holiday.

To be fair, it wasn't exactly my fault as I'd left a note on the equipment in question to be load and soak tested it first- which was ignored- so it kind of caught fire and they had to evacuate- and about a dozen pumps came out and the roads were closed off as it was a hazmat site.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I appointed someone because their interview was very good but my gut was unsure. They managed to (almost) alienate our biggest client in the first two weeks and only last five weeks. Costly.

Got Edinburgh airport evacuated one night. The smoke detectors hadn't been isolated and we set them off using the grinder. Got a bollocking from the police and fire brigade that night

I've almost done similar making toast, popped it in and went for a pee- came back to find security looking a bit annoyed and had to suffer about a month of toast related jokes and comments. (I'm not a pyromaniac btw, I've balanced out those two incidents with putting out two fires )
