"I used to love banana & strawberry smoothies, but I like more exotic fruits nowadays, like mango & pineapple." I love mango and pineapple but it might be a bit sweet for me. I'll give it a go though.

"Maybe try something like frozen yogurt with mango, pear, melon, strawberries and a bit of orange juice or apple juice. I like most combinations as long as there is no banana. It seems to overpower all the other flavors ![]() One of the supermarkets makes a smoothie mix that sounds lovely, except it has celery in it and I can't stand celery. I'm not the greatest fan of banana in smoothies either. This blueberry one is great though, and even better, it's satisfied my craving for ice cream without having to go out, buy ice cream and eat a couple of thousand calories worth of sugar and fat.

Google suggests using unsweetened coconut milk or natural yogurt to balance it out ![]()

Coconut milk sounds like a plan ![]()

"I have a Chocolate soy protein shake made with almond milk and blended together with Black Forest berries and two raw eggs every morning for breakfast. " Hold the eggs and that sounds great. I wonder if it would work with cookies and cream shake instead.

"Or what about just a load of berries? Tesco are currently doing a nice mixed tray of raspberries, blueberries & strawberries at the minute." Sounds lovely. They also do bags of frozen summer fruits, which would probably be really nice. I'm going to make myself hungry again at this rate!

I'm not actively training so I just need to keep calories down and manage my carb intake. If I need a filler to make my shakes more filling, I add fibre. Psyllium husk or flax seeds or something.

I am too ![]() The idea of the smoothie was so I didn't go out and buy ice cream. I'm going to end up going out anyway at this rate, although I'll buy a metric tonne of fruit instead!

"Our regular breakfast is either: 250ml almond milk, 50g frozen dark cherries and 2 scoops chocolate protein (tastes like Black Forest gateau) Or 250ml almond milk, 50g frozen raspberries and 2 scoops vanilla protein (tastes just like drumstick lollies!). Sometimes I do 250ml coconut milk (the 'milk' type, not the type from a can), 50g frozen pineapple and 2 scoops vanilla protein (kina a piña colada vibe)." They all sound nice, thank you.
