Best pizza topping in your opinion?

I've just made my own but am boring with toppings.

Mozzarella with a passata and garlic sauce with salami and mushrooms.

Actually the best pizza I've had is Neapolitan from a guy I knew once.

Perfect base, no cheese and only roast Mediterranean veg on top.

I can still taste it some nights.

Local takeaway does a meal deal of 10 inch pizza (4 toppings) , chips and a can all for £7. I usually have half n half double pepperoni and Chinese chicken n red onion.

Homemade pizza base, Tomato Sauce (well seasoned), buffalo mozzarella, beef tomato, garnished with fresh basil. Served up with a nice well aerated Chianti.

I have yet to build a pizza oven and then it will be baked in a wood fired oven.

Hmmm....

Thin base for starters - I want to taste the toppings!

Then:-

Pepperoni

Spicy beef

Mozzarella

Anchovies

Black olives

Capers

Jalepenos

Possibly red onion if I'm feeling like I need veg!

I don't eat them often, as I can smash a 15 incher in one sitting (oo la la!) and with all that lovely spicy and saltiness it dehydrates me terribly.
