House work, washing, played with my son and the puppy, had the in laws round for coffee, had my shopping delivered, cooked my son lunch, prepped dinner (chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella wrapped in bacon and more cheese on top) and did some actual work.

had a lie in after an unusually good amount of sleep for me - did some housework - did some shopping and went for a hearing test - still borderline for a hearing aid just now both ears not just the one (gotta love getting old) - popped into work to give a resident something i knew he would enjoy that id got secondhand for just a few quid - came home - sorted out my cupboards of casserole dishes and the like as my girlie is leaving home soon and donating what i probably dont need that she and her bf can use - made a brew and back on here -

Detailing an Alfa Mito. The interior is all done, the exterior is washed and clayed but every time I start to repair the stone chips it starts bloody raining!

Every time this car comes in the weather takes a huge dump on it!!!!

I'm hopefully not going to die when I go to the surf snowdonia place in Wales in a couple of weeks. Never surfed before so probably going to look really stupid like a seal on a surfboard but I'm looking forward to it

Had to go into work two hours early, made up by leaving an hour late. Then found I had to descale both toilets due to years of build-up.

But day finished quite well, just listened to village church bells while watering tomatoes in the last of the days sun

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've had a lovely day off.

Started with the interesting Michael Heseltine interview on R4, brunch with an old friend, a wander around an independent book shop before popping into the 1950s style clothes shop where there was a 50% sale on the sale prices! Yippee - a skirt and a dress for £23.50. Then off to have my hair cut and a deep tissue massage before collecting young people to go and see Finding Dory. 30 minutes of work before dinner and then telly and here.

Spent about a million hours (that's what it felt like) on E.E. website,trying, unsuccessfully,to cancel an old contract,,,,did loads of hoovering,dusting,mopping,scrubbing and window cleaning,,,,wrecked my nails in the process,,,,,,,got stood up by a guy (yes,,,off here) who had come on to me (working local,can I meet him in the bar of his hotel,,,yadda yadda,,he never showed)......went on cam chat,watched some guys jerk off ,,,,

texted an old friend to see if he wanted to come over mine (no answer),,,,just brought myself to a shuddering,wet climax.

I think I'll have a cup of herbal infusion and go to bed now,,it's been a mixed sort of a day.
