Getting round filters ?

I had a msg today from a guy outside my age filter.

He's not familiar, as in we've not msg before, & he's not local so doubt I would have msg him first.

I've recently made some changes to my filters but from what I can see, I should not be getting messages from guys under 40!

How did he get round the age filter?

Have I not updated something?

Do you mean your 'looking for' list? That's just for info. You need to use Mail filters to stop mail.

Not the mail filters, only 40-45!

I just can't figure it out.

I wondered if maybe I hadn't saved a change somewhere.

If you've mailed him before - such as to say no thanks- that voids the filter.

Nope, I always block if it's a no. Saves wasting time!

If any guys outside my filter can try & msg me & see what happens please?

I can't so it seems to be working fine now

The person has replied & has advised that his account shows him as 10 years younger?!

So he would be within my age range but the system says he isn't.

I am so confused

I think someone may have done a bit of stealth ninjaing.
