1. That I've never even tried a cig or taken drugs....people seem to think being a drummer and been in some pretty heavy bands means living the rock n roll lifestyle.

People ask for id gets ridiculous...I went to buy a 15 DVD....bearing in mind I was wearing a t shirt so all my tattoos were showing, I then give him my drivers license which you need to be 17 to have.....he then spends the next minute or so working out that I'm actually over 15

I think what surprises a lot of people who bother to take the time to get to know me is that I'm not actually that dumb, and I am capable of holding an interesting conversation. Even though I may do a job that even a wizened chimp could handle with ease, I've actually got a bit of a brain on me. A lot of the time I tend to hide my light under a big old bushel but if you get to know me I will surprise you. There's way more to me than meets the eye.

It used to be my age. Alas, the fine lines are now creeping in. People now seemed surprised when I tell them my occupation. Haven't a clue why, women gardeners aren't unusual.
