I was sat on the prom homeless, penniless and scared.

Today I'm 11 month in my new flat. It's perfect with a view that makes me smile and happy to be alive. I've everything I could possibly wish for. I'm happy, content and briming with confidence. My ex husband and I are both very happy and my relasionships with my daughter's is thriving.

I've a beautiful kitten and my very best friend still by my side.

Sitting on the prom that day I was lost and I never belived I would be were I am today.

I'm grateful for all I have n all who love and support me.

Good for you...it's amazing what happens when you make changes in your life anything is possible....forget all the bullshit their is no better feeling than walking into your own home and feeling comfortable and content....all the best for the future x

Thank you and yes to anyone thinking of leaving thier family don't be scared just take each minute at a time. It's a very big and very scary world out there but it's also a very big and very beautiful world. Xxx

I've been at the end of the line too, when all seems hopeless. The most important thing I've learned is to never give up. Things can and will turn around in your favour. Just give it time, work hard, believe in yourself and embrace the love and friendship of those around you.

Congrats on your new beginning,sometimes walking away from what you had,and then creating a new life can have so many chapters but gaining confidence and strength and for having a support system around you to get to where you are now is what can make you proud of yourself

I went thought a similar situation before Xmas. Lost my job no family near by and was suffering financially and mentally. Had decided that if I didn't get a job before Xmas that I wouldn't be around to see in the new year ..........

Thankfully I got a job with a 4 January start date. Didn't have to loose my home and then started dating the 3 week of January.

I feel like that every morning.....didn't for a long long time but when you get there is a feeling that's so hard to describe....and when people say why you so happy all the time and you are always the one way....cos I don't have a care in the world
