I'm a Bombay Sapphire, Tonic and Lime kinda girl (with a straw as per the 'Quirk' post) have been for years!!! But, having made lots of changes in my life, thought it time I changed my tipple too! I've recently discovered Jäger and Dry Ginger...Mmmm!!! Any other odd combo's I'm missing out on, feel the need to experiment!! I seem to recall loving Pernod and Black in my youth!!! What's your tipple? x

I'm quite fussy when it comes to Gin and that's why I tend to stick with Bombay Sapphire, but Rhubarb sounds nice, not sure where I'd get it though?!

Gin used to have a very bad reputation. Mothers ruin and all:

But there are some fabulous options and after going to a gin bar in Newcastle I've never looked back.

Think my favourite was a cracked pepper cocktail. Oooh.

Never tried? Aww, but it's so lush in the summer - with strawberries, cucumber and various other fruit - it is a thirst quencher, so a pitcher is always recommended!! Haha x

Aberdeen

We like Calli mocho(probably spelt wrong) It's basically red wine and Cola over ice. It takes a repellant red and turns in into something very nice.

Then there's Mrs weird concoction, Morgan spiced, lemonade and black currant over ice.

Me? Hmm a Rusty Nail! It's basically Drambuie diluted by adding an equal amount of 12 year old malt whiskey. More than one ice cube is sacrilege. It's a nectar made in paradise, but will blow your brains if over done.

No need to fix something m that isn't broken. If you enjoy a good G&T, stock with it. Perhaps though, try Tanqueray.

Or how about going all continental, and having pastis with a little water? I live that drink. Or a good vermouth, neat, with ice?
