If you have TWO of the Boxed Sets of DVD, both unopened because you've seen it at the Flicks, on online TV and at a mate's house - twice - complete, does that make you a Fan?

If so, Guilty as charged M'Lud!

I've watched them quite a few times, have the extended versions of all 3 movies, read the book only once though.

I love LotR. I've seen the films several times, read the books quite a few times. I had lotr risk, trivial pursuit and monopoly. I did once try learning a bit of elvish.

...I'm not cool.

I always sit and watch the extended versions back to back on 27th December - its kind of a tradition for me.

This year I am also going to try and throw in the extended Hobbit movies too.

I used to read the books every year. I recently passed my old copies to my 13 yr old daughter. She's loved it.

And the movies are great. The extended edition is the only way to watch it. 12 hours of pleasure

if you ever get to listen to the BBC audio version..do its fantastic version...yes i was the 8 year old at school that kept getting the 'big thick books' from the mobile library repeatedly...the hobbit and lotr were the only books worth getting.

so big fan here although my extended versions were nicked along with my other stuff, i now have two out of the three back..HA..my daughter who is 7, recently got gifted a hard bound copy of LOTR by a family friend..she is also hooked..thats my girl
