Probably the adult content filters. You can ask them to take it off.

What your data provider or a public hotspot?

I get that when I'm out and using my data, only if I have to search for the website,if it's not on my internet explorer already. To get around it I have saved the link to a thread on here on one note, which allows me on the site that way.

"BT broadband/home .. the adult filter is turned off"

Your personal broadband is blocking you? That's a little odd. You're probably going to have to call them.

Strange as I'm at home using BT Broadband now .. Have you somehow accidently turned on their childsafe filter?

Alot of the isp's are supposed to block all adult content now by default. They may have even passed a law, so you have to opt in to get it.

Even if it wasn't on before, they may have switched it on and not told you.

I have adult filters on mine so can only use fab in the house when on wifi but this is purely because my teenage daughters phone is in the same account as mine and Mrs Cs phones

Essex.

I get it with my phone. It blocks adult sites. I go into the filter and it's turned off. I turn it off again, wait anything from a couple of minutes to a few hours and then it's fine for a few months...

My mobile is via Tesco, it asks for payment if I try to use Fab. If I try to use porn sites to view with my O2 dongle, it won't allow me. It asks me to prove myself by declaring a credit card. I only have a debit card

Try McDonald's - there was an article on a well known social media site the other day about people watching porn via the WiFi network!!!!

With sky, we had to opt out of the adult filter. Contact your supplier, they should be able to help.

Yep

Some free wifi like at McDonald's have filters set as do some of my friends who have young teenage children.

Fortunately I get good coverage with my phone network.
