It makes every sense. As soon as I get a message saying 'I luv older women' I recoil.

Yet when someone starts a conversation with me as if I am a human being I don't even notice their age or their inclination.

and jay still swings, he doesnt actively look he waits for people to make contact. Admittedly he probley only meets about 3/4 couples a year but they have always been the ones to contact him and they have either been my age or younger.
