I went to Skegness too for many years. My parents loved it and I enjoyed it too, was great fun. Also went to Blackpool a lot, exotic holidays all the way for us

I never had a holiday away from home until I left school and went away to Ilfracombe with some mates.

When we were kids my mom and dad wouldn't go away on holiday, prefering to stay home, or at the very best only go on day trips to the seaside. Dad didn't drive so we went on coach trips.

I don't think I had a deprived upbringing though. We were out of the house all the time, and as they say you don't miss what you don't have

Again only day trips and to Blackpool. All we did was look round bloody shops, I got to go on one ride and that was it. I hate Blackpool and avoid the place like the plague

Went to Pontins when I was 10

hasn't changed much, it's like a time warp and has a nice nudist beach along a bit at Shellness.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Brean Sands, Somerset. It`s south of Brean Down and Weston Super Mud. And the beach is the same too .... when the tide`s in it`s OK but when the tide goes out, prepare for a long walk through mud!

Thats like borth....

I can go right now and still know where everything is....

Only difference is , you cant play in the dunes now...with all the old homes which have been eaten by the sand and water...

Its a nature reserve
