It's very difficult for me to state my favourite,as I love so many. Saturday Night Fever had the most wonderful atmosphere, mainly down to Adam Garcias persona and voice the lead role. Marty Pellow's voice in Chicago made it for me.

Les Mis,Miss Saigon,Carousel,High Society...I could name hundreds.

For me... You'd have to go a long way to beat Rock of Ages. None stop singalong cheezy rock classics.

Oliver!

American Idiot The Musical (based on songs by Green Day)

Our House The Musical (based on songs by Madness)

Our house the musical was excellent, such an energetic and lively show as well as having some great songs.

Les miserables is my favourite, Chicago I was pretty disappointed with on the stage, thought the film was much better almost feel the same about Mamma mia too.

I have a very long list.

Radio 4 Extra has a musicals special running on Saturday mornings where they broadcast the stage versions. We've had Sweeney Todd and Guys and Dolls and this Saturday 30th is Carousel.

I forgot to mention the great Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers films from the 1930s.

" Heaven Cheek to cheek" is perhaps the greatest song and dancing on film. Its beautifully romantic,

I always like what Rogers used to say in reply to criticism of her. Many used to praise Astaire compared to her but she said she had to do all the same dance moves backwards and in Heels !! Good one Ginger x

The first meet I ever had on fab, I met a lady from London and took her to see We Will Rock You in the West End, bit of nonsense but great songs. Oh and I was suitably rocked that evening, I wish she was still on fab but alas I lost her to real life ??
