"Weird. Was listening to Fat of the land today for the first time in at least ten years. Banging." There's really nothing like it is there? That's both amazing and sad - I need more!!

"Ive seen them a few times, I remember once climbing into a see-through bass box at the front of the stage and literally being lifted off the ground with the vibes.....Awesome " You quote them in your messages don't you

"Gawd, I miss them. I know they brought something out a few years ago but it was nowhere near as good as their earlier stuff. For that matter, I miss Crystal Method too." Yeah some Crystal Method is pretty good and so are some of the Chemical Brothers stuff. I feel like the Prodigy left a larger cultural footprint though. I relate to when I listen to the music, thus elevating the pleasure derived from it. The video to "smack my bitch up" just turns everything about the song on its head and is the epitome of the rebellious 90's spirit that wanted to challenge every stereotype and preconception.

"I for one really miss the prodigy and don't feel there is anyone since that has replicated their unique sound. Their work sits almost like a genre on its own and I yurn for more. Their multi-layered lyrics gave a deep commentary on the social issues of the 90's but still remains relevant today as pendulums swing but ultimately remain on the same trajectory. " They are still about and touring. Their latest album, has a few good songs on there. It was a lot better than the previous one. Fat of the Land, has to be their crowning acheivement. Diesel Power, Narayan were awesome. Live! Not seen a better. Their mosh pits are insane.

"Music for the jilted generation and prodigy experience. Killed those albums and had all the singles, one love single had rhythm of life on it and my grampa bought a wicked set up for my room, had an amp and sub woofer and KEF speakers! " I loved "fire" at the time, I was dead into the Ratpack and I guess it turned my head....
