"hate camping ...needs comfort lol"

.

I camp with carpet in my tent, with EHU so that I can have a heater, laptop, hair drying, kettle etc...

Not quite a glamper, however, not far from it!

Do you know tents are not soundproof!....I realised this when I climbed out of it the following morning to fellow campers and complete strangers giving me a round of applause and winks.

Tres embarrassant

My first trip this year is over the Easter weekend, can't wait!

Rain while camping can be soul destroying.

The dog hates it, as it means he and I won't be going out to walk/cycle much.

Fingers crossed for some decent weather this month, as I'll be camping during both BH weekends!

If anyone loves camping, then try the camping and swinging weekend in Norfolk. I went to last years and had a ball. It was a great weekend and I met some new and old friends. Loved it.

When they start doing en suite tents with full operating hot showers and flushing loos, THEN I will consider it, but until then, no chance.

Think you have to have 4X4 to go camping.... somewhere to sleep at night when it starts to rain

Mine is only a small hatch, and I did sleep in her once during a stormy night - the dog was scared by the noise and needed to be cuddled all the time, so I grabbed the sleeping bag and went into the car with him - he in the passenger footwell where he normally sits/sleeps, and me in the driver seat with the back dropped.

And that is the third trip for the year - two before that, one on each BH weekend in April!
