Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Not at all. I don't approve of Apple and everything i.

I do have an Apple MP3 player that was given to me as a birthday present and use it in the car because it would have been hurtful to reject it.

I recently succumbed to the draw of an apple product (much do the chagrin of a good friend in here) and so far so good.

I do however have other Android and Windows devices. I can't help feel like I'm drawing a parallel with fab... You know a little bit of everything as and when I'm lucky enough to have it

Used Apple laptops for years, no "I" but simply works well.

I switched over to an Apple laptop at home two years ago. Still use Windows at work.

I wouldn't dream of going back again. I find the Mac a joy to use compared to Windows.

I can understand the arguments against iPhones, though I'm fine with mine though.

I'm not an apple fanboy. I did vow to never get an iPhone when they first came out because of the way they trickle out the technology in order to make a new version next year, such as adding the terrible camera on the iPhone 1 when there were much better camera phones available at that time. And to this day I've never had one.

But I loved iPod, had two of those, not impressed that they got rid of the classic though.

And I also love my macbook pro.

I refuse to pay any money into their big fat wallets. Never owned anything made by apple and never plan to. Overpriced twaddle, fashion accessories.

The only "i" item I have owned for more than a day was an iTorch that I brought from poundland. Showed it to my Apple obsessed friend and kept winding it (yep, a cheap windup torch) and her up. After a few days the handle broke. And that ends my story of my "i" item.

They have absolutely ridiculous rules about their staff (current and former) posting anything about them online... so I'll just say that about 4 years ago I became very firmly Team Android

I would never own an Apple product purely because everyone else does. Iphone are only popular because everyone wants one, not because they are reliable or work any better than other mobiles. Samsung are superior in lots of ways and Samsung is all I will ever have.

I have an iPhone and an android phone. The android phone lives in its box. I have an iPad and a HP tablet. The HP tablet lives in its box. The Apple devices do lack certain features I occasionally need such as USB ports and ability to run certain windows based software but that is what makes them so user friendly and reliable. When I do have to use my none Apple devices they drive me nuts. I'm always glad when I can put them away!

I have an iPhone, iPad and iMac. They all 'talk' to each other and help me organise work and life in general. My gf would like me to take them all down to Cash Generator and buy a Micky Mouse/Fisherprice phone that 'only plays snake' like her's.

Do you want to read that back to yourself and edit? It sounds like you are saying that they are better because they lack functionality in comparison to others? Is that right?

For me one of the killers is that everyone I know that owns an apple laptop/computer runs a windows emulator at least some of the time. No one I know with a windows machine runs a Mac emulator

I have had a generation 5 ipod video I still use on a daily basis. I've owned it for eleven years, and it still holds a decent charge. Most reliable bit of tech I've ever owned.

However, I've had the opportunity to work selling tech, and know full well that Apple products are overpriced. You pay for the image. Nothing more.
