Are you employed, or self employed?

If employed, do you work for a large company or a small business?

How do you find the atmosphere, colleagues, benefits and downsides?

I work for a family business and have total control over the planning of my days.

I have been self employed in the past and I wish to return to that eventually, I love the freedom.

I couldn't ever work for a multi-national company, the Little Hitlers and Jobsworths would just do my head in!

Neither. I was made redundant in March for the sixth time since starting my "career" and have been struggling to find something suitable ever since.

Thankfully I had the foresight to take out insurance to cover my monthly bills or I'd be selling my body on the streets... and getting asked for change from a two pound coin is degrading, even by my abnormally low standards.

Worked for a huge national company full of politics and middle management. Best thing I done was take the leap on my own

Totally agree but I get paid very well so put up with it. Currently working on launching my own business

employed - work for a privately owned business than owns 3 care homes - pay is rubbish - job satisfaction immense - made some great friends - lots of things id love to change but never will

For what it's worth I think it's generally a good idea to work for a large company at the start of your career and then move into a small one or start your own business.

I wouldn't recommend the other way around!

I'm self employed, own business with employees.. I often wonder if life is a lot easier as an employee?....

I've never been to a job interview in all my career... I've had to conduct a few though..

I work for a large british company.good to work for.tidy money,and loads of perks like shares,and phones and loads of other stuff.

You do meet loads of jobsworths,and complete sly bellends but our team is xool.Atmosphere was stiffling today.it hit 29.5C today!hot as fuck.down side is being in a windowless office,and dealing with people who think perfection is actually possible!twats
