Everyone in our town knows what we get up to due to kind newspapers but as bad as it was at the time it was the best thing to happen, it feels like weight's been lifted & no skeletons in the cupboard anymore as nobody had a bad word to say & nobody criticised our lifestyle.

There are two reasons - (1) a general stigma against married couples having extra-marital sex and (2) I don't see any reason why my family needs or wants to know anything about my sex life, and the same goes for many of my friends.

He thought I had cancer or something of that ilk, so when I told him about this he was immensely relieved. He found it quite comical in the end and said if anyone was going to do it it would be us.
