this might sound odd but i got tatts many years ago now when im hot the ink seems to swell under my skin does anyone else have this or am i just a freak i can physically feel the lines of the patterns but only when after shower or when very hot

no that happens with mine too, if im sunbathing my tattoo rises so i tend to whack loads of suncream on it

So tattoos can get a hard on in the heat?

I wonder if Notts knows? he also gets a hard on in the heat

it does happen yeah , we have lots between us , si's are worse when its hot but his cover his arms and chest and are all black x

its caused by heat and humidity causing the pigments in the ink ti swell , cold water calms it down if its really itchy x

i was 14 when i got my first it seems the early ones i had done are the worst to swell and itch lol

most do it , its common and not a problem unless its really bad , then it can be an allergic reaction to the ink , but its rare and a little too late lol x

my tatts swell all the time in the heat

i work in a kitchen all day long so by 10am all my tats have risen

they dont itch but sometimes you can see the out line under my work shirt

no never regreted having any of my tatts and i have 6 and i love them

in fact im looking to have a nother one done looking for a nice dragon to go on the top of my leg

I'd so like to get a tatt, I just can't decide where. Somewhere it can be seen when I'm out, but easily covered for work.

I have a small butterfly on my bum and a small rose on my inner hip ... can't say I've ever had any swelling with them but they sometimes cause paul to swell debs xxx
