Do you have home aircon? I'm thinking of a fitted system for future but don't know anyone else with it and would prefer to know how it's been.

Im in Scotland, so that will be a big NO

Air conditioning is a very simple system which if properly charged will run for years, we have many units offshore and never a problem.

I had air conditioning fitted

I have a dog with epilepsy and when he over heats he tends to have more fits so I had it to keep the dog cool

I figured a way to cut down on my AC bill. In the summer I stay in my office until 9 pm

I live in a hillside valley in South Wales where it mostly rains so no, but on day's like today I wish I did.

Did you get a system for the whole of your home or are they units that cool each separate room? How did you evaluate suppliers etc?

Thanks Naughty

My rooms are currently close to 30 and the insulation and construction means it cools very slowly.

Having said that, I'm off on holiday shortly, where this could seem cool.

Why don't you just buy a one off cooling unit that you can move from room to room, see how you get on before full home installation?
