Abusive mail

Question for the women and couples that send abusive/ rude replies to people that you don't want to meet.

Why don't you just ignore/ delete, or send a nice reply? Do you realise that by being abusive you may piss that person off who will then go and abuse others? And the cycle continues...

Some people have on other threads. That's what made me think of the question.

Why: because they display the same twat like behaviour they bleat about in others.....

I've gotten abusive mail from men before, too. It's not just women and couples (granted it was off the back of a forum post, but it was still abusive and from a man).

I don't know why people do it. I assume they think it's funny or they aren't good at venting their frustration in a productive manner. I think its quite sad.

"Why can't we all just be nice to each other?"

Because it is humans that you are suggesting all get on and be lovely.

I think the closest to abusive I've got has been slightly sarcastic. Life's too short. If someone has pissed me off that much I feel an urge to try and reciprocate the pissed off back at them then it's time to log out and get some perspective.

Because you deleted my fancy a fuck message with all my cock pic's I sent.

I send abuse because I how dare you ignore me and my beautiful cock. I want my pound of flesh.

It'll get worse in the heat. I've witnessed it already in my car tonight.

I looked at my empty inbox... no cock pics... wtf???! You mixed me up with another boots wearing oddball. I'm gutted!

You can have some flesh anyway.

I'll admit to sending the odd sarcastic reply but never been downright abusive. No point.

To be honest we have two approaches, if someone sends us a decent thought out message and have obviously made an effort, but we're not interested we'll send a polite "thanks but no thanks" reply.

If it's a one liner of the "hi wanna meet" variety, they get deleted and ignored.

Either way no point if you're not interested in chatting more to someone to get involved in dialogue abusive or otherwise.

I've sent nice replies, then get the follow up of "why not", " what's wrong with me" or abusive replies back. I generally just send a No if messages are polite, otherwise I do delete. To disgusting, rude and cocky ones I send a sarcastic reply - nothing abusive or mean however.

You can't do wrong right on this site.

I have only sent one message that was in any way rude - to a very nasty person who got abusive to me when i didn't reply to them. I wouldn't say it was abusive, just pointed out why they were behaving like a dick and said it's no wonder they cant get a meet!

Then i reported and blocked them.

I had a rude guy today. Because i didn't reply he sent me a couple more messages, i ignored them and blocked him before he gets abusive.

I have experienced domestic abuse in the past and some of these guys really set alarm bells ringing. If they treat you like this before you meet then why the hell would i ever consider going anywhere near them. I trust my instincts and if anything doesn't feel right i walk away.

Quite a few from comments I've read on various forum posts.

However, I can imagine they don't like it very much if/when the boot is on the other foot!

If not interested just delete and block if I send a no thanks then people think its starting a conversation. I prefer sending nice messages just for being nice its good to compliment people and I do often x

Hang on...to blame someone responding negatively to someone who may or not go on to harm others is unfair.

When I get rude and abusive mails, I'll respond how I like.

If I can be arsed.

It's usually the ones that complain about abusive messages that brag about how abusive they are to other people.

Now typing with a nose is surely a talent

...what's the other hand doing?

Intend to be polite unless we get annoyed by the messages then it's a block
