why do you write lengthy profile message?

I see no reason why people write unnecessary messages in there profile message. Why can't people itemise their do's and don't in like six lines.

They think they are wise by saying "put fuck you in the subject to know if you have read my message". So pathetic as I don't read all as I only look for that pathetic line lol

It also works as another filter as if someone couldn't be bothered to put in the effort to read my profile then I won't be bothered to acknowledge their existence. And nine times out of ten it's blatantly obvious when someone hasn't, regardless of code words or not.

To try and make it clear that I am highly unlikely to meet most of the people who message me and avoid them wasting their time if they're looking for a quick meet. If they can't be bothered to read that then they only have themselves to blame when I fail to respond to their well thought out 'I'll be in your area tomorrow. Can I fuck you?" type message.

I wrote mine up like that to help people decide if they want to get to know me or not didn't bother including the 'add this as your message subject' thing though

But I think slightly longer profile info is a good thing, there's no point messaging if you don't think you'll click and having more info about someone can help you work that out.

We put that "pathetic line" as u call it OP to make sure people read our profile and understand what we want from the site. Some want to basically fuck their way through the site and others like ourselves want a handful of people we can socialise with and have NSA fun in bed with at the same time. We have different preferences and things that need to be said on profile not to mention we get annoying dick heads who seem to think we can meet at the drop of a hat when we've got a child. If they spent 2 minutes of their time reading our profile they would save themselves disappointment

The reason why i have a long profile as a man is because I want to show I am not standard tosser.

1) i like intimacy its sexy (you find op that women are more emotionally complicated and need this.) Shaggibg someone who dose it respect you is no fun

2). Having photos of myself and a long well thought through profile gives a glimpse into my personality. And potentially shows in a waist of time.

4) there will always be a guy out there who fiter or has bigger thicker cock, and dare I say a nicer cock than you. There is roughly a 75:1 ratio of single men to women, we have to compete some how.

5) i like to read long profiles it gives me more to write and keep convobalive in messages.

I come here because I enjoy the forums, I enjoy internet chat, and I like making friends online. And just once in a while I come across people I actually fancy meeting.

I rarely have the time or inclination to go out socialising in RL and I've found some enjoyable company here.

OP I know you clearly don't like reading but maybe it's worth you having at least a skim over the forum rules. You'll find that it's frowned upon to critique someone's profile unless they specifically ask you to. You've now criticised a number of profiles on this thread for no reason.

Well, our profile blurb definitely falls into the 'lengthy' category. And it was a conscious decision we made in order to present ourselves as we see ourselves. It provides information about our likes and dislikes, our hopes and kinky aspirations, and we decided to go down that route because we hoped it would appeal to Fabbers with a similar mindset to ours. There's a profile out there for everyone, and we chose to shy away from long lists of things we hate, in favour of a positive, and comprehensive essay about what we love. Now, if people find it too wordy, and struggle to make it to the end, then it has done at least one important job. It has filtered out the kind of people who don't have the attention span required to engage in a cerebral, sexual adventure with us.
