When he said it I thought bullshit, but he then followed that by saying "if you have a trip to Turkey planned, please, please don't go...." " I did Google Sloggett... Hopefully it's not the US snake-oil salesman but this one, who sounds in the loop. Who's yr friend? "Dr Dave Sloggett has spent over 40 years working with the United Kingdom military forces as a scientific advisor and analyst. His work has led him to visit Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan on numerous occasions. He is a recognised authority on Counter Insurgency (COIN) operations and is used as an advisor by NATO to lecture on this subject in support of training missions seeking to help countries establish their own military forces. Today he writes for a wide range of publications and is a strategic advisor to IHS-Janes the publishing company, an organisation for which he is also a regular contributor to their on-line webinars and their publications, such as Janes Intelligence Review, Janes Defence Weekly, Janes Navy International and Janes Islamic Affairs Analysis."

"Relatively well orchestrated coup - EU source Posted at Fucking weasel words from the EU - they're calling it 'well orchestrated' - makes it sound like a day at the races... . 22:35 A European Union source tells the Reuters news agency: "It looks like a relatively well orchestrated coup by a substantial body of the military, not just a few colonels." "They control several strategic points in Istanbul. Given the scale of the operation, it is difficult to imagine they will stop short of prevailing," the source adds." Given the strategic importance of Turkey, i would be surprised if the US and NATO didn't have prior notice There are very credible allegations that he has been supporting ISIS. His son was also involved in buying oil from isis.

"Are the military facing opposition then? With their leader about to flee. From what I understand it's the military turning against there leader Yes that's what's happening, though I can't tell if there is any actual opposition to them doing that. It seems like the right thing to do. Until it descends into civil war with ISIS trying to flood the country. The president is pro Isis." *sighs*
