How many tines a day do you try your luck on here. So far 4 times and lucked out on all times.

I've tried a fair few more than that (in total) and no luck. I've had a couple of 'So near!' but nothing came of it. So to speak.

Just keep believing that the next one will be yes.

I honestly don't make contact first anymore.

If women are interested in me, they usually text or wink.

If not, it is pointless to send them a message as it gets delete most of the time.

When I have my filters all open I have two preferences for single men right at the top, to be over 6 foot and over 30, which is quite easy going for "demands" on here and I get all too many "I know I'm under your age range/your height preferences but..." messages.

Marc still tries sometimes, but after a week or so he gets frustrated and gives up, too.

I try my luck in the sense that I get in contact with couples or single women when I fit within the parameters of their profile.

Not had much luck with couples which is something I really want to try!

I guess at first I used to message first .....but then got to a point where I felt like I wasn't what is being looked for .

So now I wait for a wink or a direct message myself .

Being on the forum helps I think because my profile is garbage and chatting on here allows folks to see what your normally like I think .

Rarely these days.

It appears to me that Fab is slowly diminishing in terms of user numbers and in terms of the ratio of real posters vs timewasters/pic collectors/egotists. Quite a few regular messagers have gone UNLOS recently, some we really werent expecting.

We usually check for new profiles every 5-6 days or so, send out a few first messages when we see them on that day but in between we send none. Come to realise its just not worth it, we arent going to get what we need from here so we've made our peace with primarily being a social and voyeur couple at the moment. A miracle may come along, but theres only so long you can flog a dead horse.

I respect people's wishes ... and I expect the same in return , if their profile states what they don't want people should not try their luck ... this is why people can't be arsed with the site now more and leave ... then come back try again , disrespecting people's wishes , messing them around , no shows , for what ever reason there's just no point .... there's something for everyone on here so find ur compatible match !!!!!
