I have had 6 messages this morning from guys moaning n bitching about females not answering messages... How we are all slags etc...

My advice to u sad desparate men out there....

READ THE PROFILE FIRST!! Then think!!

Hahaha had a blinder last night!!

He sent a nice message,with a face pic, all good so I answered! He asked for my number, I said no!! Suddenly I'm a fat old tart who should be grateful for any attention! I explained that he was more than welcome to move along and then he really went to town! Needless to say he was promptly blocked!

Trolls on an Internet forum? Who'd have thunk it?

I agree it's wholly unnecessary and what a waste of time and effort on their part, but sadly whatever forum you're on, a sex site, a football forum or any other you'll always get people who like to cause a reaction. Ignore them, move on, use filters appropriately wherever possible (although I appreciate this won't eradicate the problem) and report where appropriate.

If you're going to advertise yourself for sex on a public forum then expect trolls and idiots. It's a sad fact but true.

Stay safe people but don't let the buggers get you down

So true.. I have 100's of messages a day.. A pic of a torso would be nice instead of the black n white pic .. I just delete them, then I get abuse for that.. We have put time into our profiles .. With pics and things we are looking for.. Kindly do the same!!!

I don't get why some guys are like this. Yes it's disappointing when girls or couples don't reply. But just move on, what's the point in trying to chat with someone who is no way ever going to talk. It makes no sense and gives the good guys a bad name too. And making threats ?? What's that all about. Pathetic!!!

Are you girls stating all guys act like this? Or maybe just the guys that contact you?

Or you could make it clear, 'Some guys have acted like this'

Also it may have shown how difficult it is for men and woman to carefully profile and judge who your about to start talking to.

I'm sure some of the strange messages that are sent are just from trolls, keyboard warriors whatever you want to call them. Report them.

It can be easier to put filters on and go liking yourself, then you have control over who messages you.

Clearly not. I don't think all men are the same otherwise I wouldn't do the job I do not still be on fab. Just some like to ruin it. I rejoined, changed my name and location. Not going to let a few wrong'uns stop me enjoying myself.

It's awful . I actually was silly enough to put my actual location on here so I was really shock up when I received that.

I wouldn't put it down to trolls as such. Just some angry person who's clearly used go getting his own way and didn't like it when an actual woman didn't fancy him. Plenty of woman beaters around in our world unfortunately. Just be careful who you reveal your location too ladies. Which is why I now don't do hotels either. Anyone can be anyone. Strangely I find going into a guys home safer . Well if he's a violent guy etc, then he'd hardly give me his face pic or address. I tell my best friend where I'll be and hope I've covered the basis of a safe enjoyable meet. . Too nervous to go into clubs in case anyone suggests that. . Not sure what else I can do.

In this instance I'm assuming the guys only read your status. Need 6 guys black or white aged between whatever and whatever, they probably thought that as you had some kind of group shindig going on seperate to what you're looking for personally so they were offering themselves.

Took me 6 days to get round to some of my messages cos they drop off the page and you have to individually go through and delete messages to find ones you might've missed. I messaged a guy back 6 days after his message am we spoke on the phone and he is really nice, found another one with good pictures, went to message him back and was blocked so he will never know that I was going to answer his message.

I'll clarify. I'm not here for attention from men who I'm not interested,by attention I mean messages from men who don't fit my preferences. I'm not here for flattery or an ego boost; if I were I would use photo shop and filters on pics of myself semi naked,to make myself look better. I don't complain when someone who hasn't read my profile messages me,I say no thank you and delete and block. Sometimes I forget to block and get asked why,to which I say something along the lines of you're not what I'm looking for.

I always read the location of every guy who's nice enough to message me. If isn't anywhere near me, I delete. It's clear those ones haven't bothered to read a profile before messaging. If a guy is within my area and fits what I seek, I always reply. Saying that, even a polite no can sometime be met with abuse. I can't win! Lol
