It is illegal to supply steroids in the UK but not to buy them. But the internet makes it relatively easy for young people to buy body building drugs.

BBC Inside Out found that many young boys trying to enhance their physique are exceeding the recommended dose of steroids to get faster results.

Steroid abuse can lead to serious side effects including mood swings, development of male breast tissue, shrinking of the testes, impotence and high blood pressure. If steroids are taken for a long time there can also be damage to the heart and liver

Without sounding rude what is your point. The fact that BBC have highlighted it? I think these methods of cutting corners are futile anyway especially regarding the points you've highlighted. If you ever watched WWF (now WWE) Chris Benoit got 'roid rage' on some different level and killed everything in his house and himself. I was big into wrestling as a kid but knew back then how many guys were dying and it was too frequently related to heart issues. I think if you take the long route you will get your desired look but I suppose it's easy for me to say as I have a high metabolism.

If a person has underlying mental health issue then steroids would make those worse. Basically if someone is a dick they'll be an even bigger dick on gear.

I've known PLENTY of guys that take steroids including many friends and they're perfectly pleasant and don't go killing people. I've even taken d-bol myself in the past with no problems.

Exactly. I believe the Chris Benoit case had a lot more to do with him using a finishing move called the "flying headbutt" and all that entails than steroids. Lots of people use steroids and most don't kill their family. Conversely, most wrestlers who use a finishing move that gives you a weekly concussion have ended up in very bad condition, look at the Dynamite Kid now.

Indeed, roid rage has nothing to do with steroids. Its actually caused by lifting weights wrong, resulting in hemeroids! The real reason some gym goers are angry all the time.

Watched a program on netflix following three brothers and steroids. It was quite a learning experience.

Folk claim its an easy path, but fact is those guys on roids are working way harder. If I wasnt scared of needles and had a safe supply I would think about it myself.

People think that they just take steroids and then muscles magically appear! You still need to work out a lot and eat a lot to grown and then train train train otherwise that growth will just be fat!

Really?

What was the cause of death?

Im genuinly curious the mechanism you feel a testosterone compound will cause death?

Except it's not.

"Death" is not directly caused by the steroids but generally by the life/job and hobbies of the people who use them.

If you some how managed to get to 230lb of muscle with a low body fat %

You're more than likley going to die of a heart attack before you get to 50 too.

Cause you're life has put a huge strain on your heart continually requiring it to work at very high pressures.

Central

I do get troubled by the amount of guys I've come across who use them - they're really commonly used now. The health risks are pretty strong and potentially awful. I can appreciate why many use them, due to the major desires that so many men have to really bulk up.
