Great British summer!

What has happened to the weather?

I love nothing more then hitting a nude beach or club, taking a stroll or just relaxing getting an all over tan.

But where the hell is summer! I've hardly had a chance to tan my checks this year.

Is it getting anyone else down?

Every year everyone seems to be exasperated by the lack of continuous sunshine over a British Summer.

Yet it's the same every year!

We have a temperate marine climate and get the wet or cloudy weather weather coming in from the Atlantic. We're always likely to get more cloud and rain on average than sunshine.

This IS our Summer!

(Oh, and sorry for being a bloody straight faced mood Hoover so early in the morning )

It does seem to have been much gloomier than usual, or at least than summers used to be.

There's been very little beach weather.

It was on a Tuesday. In May. Sorry you missed it.

Hopefully it'll improve. This is our first summer of retirement together, oh the plans we had! Long days on the beach, glasses of wine over a lazy lunch on the seafront, dinner in the garden by candlelight. Maybe next year.

Bedfordshire

It's all good. You have to make the most of it, or move to South of France (quickly though before they close their doors)

I love the British weather
