Absolutely nothing...especially as they wouldn't recognise me unless we'd met or we're friends on here.

I've seen supposedly single males out with their partners and children, locals who post face pics and guys who've messaged me. I assume that they want to keep their lifestyle discreet as do I, so why would I acknowledge them?

Say you saw a hit bloke on here who you knew was single, would you engage conversation?

Is it not better to give people some privacy.

Leave them be.

I have seen someone I know on here and would never do anything about it. She is after discretion the same as I am so why mention it or act on it?

Guy from school found me, we had a laugh about it and are friends now.

Yesterday I spotted a friend of friends on here though who I used to talk to on Tinder. Looking forward to seeing how that pans out

Not quite the same but we played with a couple a while back the male of which was wearing a rugby club shirt for the same club my best friend of 40 years is also a member of. Checking my best friend's Facebook page a day or so later, the first person to pop up in his galleries?! Yep you guessed it!!

Would I say anything to my best friend, even anecdotally? Of course not, same rule applies, nothing to do with him, and I also know the other guy would never say anything to my friend about us.

Don't understand anyone that says they hope they spot someone they know on here, almost comes across as hoping they'd then hold something over that person, which frankly is a little creepy!!

I gave my laptop to a friend at work to clean and asked him not to go snooping, obviously he did and saw my pictures from another site I'm on.....he was the one that told me about fab. He has spoken to me about things and I've asked him not to as I see him as a work mate and not that way, plus he's married......I haven't come across his profile yet lol

Found a girl I went to school with, didn't realise it was her as had no pics, messaged her and it got deleted, thought nothing of it. Later that night I recognised her profile name was her Facebook url! Anyway called her out on it had a chat was all good.

Another time found one of my exs had joined up luckily still mates and have played.

And on another site I got a message from someone saying nice bike etc, at this point I hadn't posted shit on that site about me and bikes. Anyway scared shit out of me and deleted profile haha

Is there anything I can do about a guy who recognised me from a different site and after I politely said I wasn't interested, he turned bitter and vile. He called me by my real first time and said he's thinking of mentioning I'm on here to my brother and their friends (one of which is a work colleague of mine). He knows if people I work with find out I'm on a site like this, my career is potentially over with. I'll never be able to live it down! Why do some people find rejection hard and why be so horrible!?

Happened to me when I was at university. Had to leave my laptop with the tech guys. I wondered why they were always smiling at me when I picked it up later on! Lol. Good job I've left now.

Nope. I'd message him on fab if I was interested. And if I saw the profiles of friends, family, colleagues or neighbours I'd block them.

Tell him you'll report him to the police for threatening behaviour and see how he likes the thought of a criminal record

I just sat there with my jaw open in shock. Couldn't believe how nasty he was. blocked him straight after. I'm paranoid in case he's photoshot my pics. Family members will obviously recognised my bedroom because my brother decorated my room for me. It's just horrible

I hope that's the last I heard about it. I don't understand how he recognised me because my face pic isn't on here and I've never met him. I do have a similar pic on a different site but I never thought it was that obvious. My dream career has only just began. So much to lose . Thank you for your kind words.
