So...,? Anyone planning on seeing this? It's out today.

The Guardian have it 4 out of 5 stars. But still unsure about it

DoG gave it 3 out of 5, waiting on hearing what Dr K thinks about it on Friday as well.

Will give it a try, hated the trailer for it, but I also hated the trailer for Bridesmaids and that was a good film so fingers crossed.

I won't but purely because I can't stand Melissa McCarthy. She's played the same character in every movie I've ever seen her in. Same with Kristen Wiig. I find them as unfunny as it's possible to find an actor.

I've seen a lot of bashing of the film because it's all women etc etc and that's silly. They're just irritating.

Yeah I'll go see it. I watched the classic original over the weekend. Any film with Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver in it is a good thing

I've no problem with an all woman cast per se, but it does feel like stunt casting in this instance. I've also seen a comparative picture of the old/new library ghost and the original looks awesome, even 30 years later. The new just looks like a cheap computer game effect.

I've read a few reviews and it sounds as though the actual film isn't as much of a car crash as the trailer suggested which is good news!

I might give it a go but it isn't top of my 'must-see' list. The new Star Trek film is out in a couple of weeks and hopefully that'll be good
