Peoples _iews?? I got blocked by somebody just because I didn't reply quick enough because I had to deal with my kids as they woke up. Should fab allow a plead for forgiveness option that you can use only once. And then it would be up to the blocker to decide??

No need to justify yourself. In this case it sounds like a good result tbh.

Why would you want to plead for forgiveness? It's not as if, you did anything wrong.

There isn't a time limit in that you must reply to a message.

Why would you want to plead with someone so intolerant? I rarely block, only people who harass me, or are rude or unpleasant. Or all three lol!

If someone blocks you because you didn't reply quick enough, then they are not worth the hassle or worth it.

Why plead for forgiveness. By blocking you I just shows you what type of person they are. I mean do you really want to meet someone who is that impaitient and childish. Forget about it and move on

Plead for nothing.

If they block you, you weren't compatible. Move on.

If they block you because you failed to reply quickly enough or to live up to other unreasonable demands, they're a pain in the arse. Thank your lucky stars you found out early and move on.

I don't chase people round and I wouldn't beg to be unblocked.

There have been a few times where I've been blocked when I realised I was in the wrong in one way or another, and on those occasions I'd like to be able to apologise. I'd still not beg to be unblocked though.

she probably had a list of do's and donts and a code word to put in your first message so chances are this particular lady had particular requirements you just missed the "must reply within 5 minute if I deemed to send you a message" So I agree with the majority of others you had a lucky escape my friend

I think I'd go for self respect over the desperation of pleading forgiveness

There are so many legitimate reasons for going offline suddenly. From dead batteries to knocks at the door to family issues and so much more. Anyone who blocks for that is an imbecile and not worth pursuing. Xx

I think you have made your point there. Now you are getting boring.

So someone blocked you.

Get over it.

This post could be taken for trying to communicate with someone who has blocked you.

I use an egg timer when chatting to someone on here.

If they don't reply by the time the sand has all gone through, an instant block

I really don't understand why you would need to block to avoid looking at profiles you would prefer not to meet.

After all you simply just don't have to look.

Or...have I missed the point?

I give people 5 seconds to reply and if they don't I get angry, and bombard them with a torrent of vitriolic bile, hatred and obscenities.

When they block me I simply register a new acc and carry on where I left off

You Dont Need to Know, right now

"I really don't understand why you would need to block to avoid looking at profiles you would prefer not to meet.

Quite a few people block profiles that they don't want to meet, so those profiles no longer appear in their searches. Not me (I rarely block except real assholes ), but for people who use the search function a lot, it's a reasonable way to run their profile.

We don't want to have the same profiles keep coming up and waste time reading profiles that are not for us! No big issue just get rid of them....no offence meant just how we use the site...
