cat.

I am the proud mummy of a 15 week old kitten.

If I'd known how incredibly relaxing, therapeutic, fun, sweet and just downright adorable.

I'd have gotten a cat years ago.

Always been a dog person, I'

m officially turned.

Have to say I grew up around dogs and cats, and always (with one exception) leaned more towards the dog camp, but since getting together with Ms G who had three cats when we met, and having had up to five cats at any one time since then, I've veered more towards the cat side. They're loving and intelligent creatures who can be great company (even if they don't ever let me have more than six inches of sofa!!).

Would still have a dog if circumstances allowed, but am more than happy to say I come from a cat loving home.

Happy for you Harlot, enjoy the new addition to your household

Welcome to 'mad cat lady' world!

Love cats, have had up to 5 at a time though only have 3 right now. They are indeed so adorable and I love the fact they're more independent than dogs (though I like dogs too) and retain an aura of mystery about them. And of course they're utterly beautiful.

Kittens are so much fun ... two kittens are even better - watching them scampering about causing mayhem together is great entertainment. If you're officially 'turned' maybe consider getting another? ... you won't regret it and they'll be great company for each other

I've always been a dog person, but.....I've been trying to convince Marc to let me adopt two bunnies from the RSPCA. One has two lame back legs and I want to take care of it so badly.

Enigmatic is the key word I'd say although there is so much to this little kitten. Biased I know.

They descend from the African Wild Cat apparently.

I've only had him since yesterday morning but he's already taken my favourite chair and shock horror, I've let him!

Thank you Mr G.

I love dogs too but I don't have the right circumstances for a dog yet.

Love purring ... one if the most relaxing sounds to fall asleep to (must stop posting on this thread as I'm sounding more and more like a mad catlady).

I'd love to but I can't at the moment sadly.

I know it's a slippery slope with cats but at the moment I can only have one.

I'll ensure he has the best kittyhood!

My best pet was a stray cat who found me when I was sick. She was the most adorable companion for the whole of her life. Cats can be incredible pets.

My vet called out Pussy Slut (not my real family name) in the waiting room, which was always a laugh. She was registered as Pussy.

He probably will with you because you're his mum but he may well be possessive and jealous of others who get your attention.

My mum hand reared a kitten from 2 days old. He absolutely adores her. She is the centre of his world. He glares and wags his tail if anyone else even talks to him.
