Tragically there was a Chinook crash about 3 months after the bin laden operation which killed most of the guys who took part in it

Bin Laden lived in a cave system in the mountains but he was found in a compound over the border into Pakistan where he had been hiding out. Sadam Hussein was found in an under ground bunker near his home town of Tikrit I believe.
