Men, grab a pen and pad and take notes!

Do men take enough pride in themselves and their approach towards you? If not, how can they improve?

Depends on the man. To be honest, I would prefer to have a man who does things for himself, not to do things to make me happy ... I am not the centre of the universe after all

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I've met some men who could have made more effort, but most of them are fine.

A self sufficient man is a great start.

Cleaner clothes and hair. However as I had not stated I expect the to look and dress like Gerard Butler I wasn't too concerned.

I find it very offputting when they make a point of mentioning they had a shower before a meet. Like it's something unusual.

I really like a man who is very clean and fairly tidy, nice newish clothes not old scruffy ones. Is that too much to ask do you think? Oh and no facial stubble, very short fingernails. As i am not that bothered if i meet someone or not i will most likely only be interested in meeting them if they sound friendly, not just send message saying they can come and meet me.
