Do people put there true locations or do you put a town/village near where they live?

I put ither where I live or I tend to say near skegness as most people know where that is

Ours is specific. Luckily it is a big town so doesn't give too much away. If it was a village we would probably put the name of a nearby towm.

I am a specific one it can take as long to get from one side of london to another in the same time you could be in a 100 miles away in any other direction lol

Some prefer to have a place that's away from their true location to prevent stalking and unpleasant behaviour from some others, which is fully understandable.

I'll tell people that I'm interested in but there's limited need for most people to know.
