.. all a load of rubbish really innit?

Although as a Scorpio with Venus rising I would say that wouldn't I?

Who believes in it then? Not necess the newspaper generic stuff but the "proper" (note inverted commas) stuff where your birth charts are properly mapped out etc.

Me? Nah .. All a load of tosh. But (on rare occasions) I've been wrong before ..

No, I don't believe in it. Although I do read mine occasionally for the entertainment.

I have a tarot app on my 'phone too which sends me a daily tarot card. I don't always look and I never take it remotely seriously.

Oh not my thing to convince lol.

Incas, Mayas and some african tribes have used/are using moon and star positions for various things in their culture.

I'm afraid that despite my skepticism, I'm the typical Virgo - a picky worry-wart.

and the Egyptians and other cultures. May be there is something in it.

If the moon can influence whole oceans then I'm sure it does something with the balance of our bodies right? After all we're 90% water ..

I'm an ox. Stubborn.

Whilst I can't argue with that, if I was one of the other signs I could probably find an aspect of the description of the new sign to apply to me.

If we want to believe we can usually find a way to interpret things to support that belief.

I should add I'm a water ox and the description for the water element doesn't match me at all.

This, apparently, is me. Flexible and intuitive, yes. The rest, well, see what you think!

People born under the Water element have above average skills in interpersonal relations and persuasion. They communicate well and are able to wear away any opposition from others through their firm, constant but unobtrusive efforts.

They also have the capability to advance their ideas by influencing the thoughts of others. By nature, people born under the Water element are flexible, intuitive, diplomatic and unimposing.

They have an eye for spotting things that have potential. Once identified, Water element people are naturals at getting the project rolling.

Their flair lies in recognising and using the talents and resources at their fingertips. Fortunately, they never make others feel that they are being made used of. Water people tend to be too conciliatory and will look for the easiest way out.

At their worst, they can be inconstant and passive. They also tend to lean too much on others for support. If they want to be effective, they must be more persuasive and assertive. Only then, can they realise their dreams.

I find these sort of things a bit bland and lacking in complexity when you compare to the wonder of the natural world that we can (partially) explain, not to mention the infinite complexity in the universe as yet unexplained by science.

If you derive some comfort from them, it's not hurting anyone, so fair enough.

Indeed, I only mentioned the above as I have studied South american civilisation and I am from two African tribes

I believe it when it suits me, something bad happens - blame my star sign. Call me fickle.
