Good idea. Get a bit of atmosphere back into stadiums. It should mean cheaper entry to those sections too helping those on a tighter budget.

If designed and built properly it's awesome. I stand at my local team as its separated by barriers and the standing areas are safe. At bigger grounds and games, some people stand anyway and the seating areas aren't designed for it.

I support standing sections. The atmosphere is better, they're semi segregated now so no crushes like the horrible events of the past.

It's a great initiative at Celtic and it almost chokes me to say it (as I think they're a vile club - but that's a totally different story) but on this they should be applauded.

Hopefully common sense will prevail and it'll be allowed across the leagues.

You go to any away game now and nobody sits anyway. You're stood the whole time even though in a seated stand. Making that as safe as possible makes sense.

They have to introduce it in the Premier league. Stadiums and atmosphere is so bland unless there is a huge game on.

I go to rugby league and that's mostly standing makes for such a good atmosphere!!! The safe seating is a clever idea and will only make it better

Rangers aren't 'back'. They were never there in the first place. That club died. This is a new club.

If its safe etc then thats ok just as long as i dont have to stand as it painful for me and as im not very tall i cant see the game.

I find the atmosphere better when fans are seated. The agressive atmosphere and pushing and shoving by some people (usually men) while standing at away games is awful.

We have a great atmosphere at our stadium anyway.

I remember being a wee lassie on my dads shoulders standing in the enclosure at ibrox best atmosphere ever, but yeah could get a bit rowdy and i couldnt see anything if i wasn't on his shoulders

My son likes standing but I'm not so bothered. In reality we both stand for parts of the match when it gets exciting (we have seated season the costs)

However if they are going to re introduce it, then it has to be right.
