My boss visits Rios !!!

As its Wednesday, I come to work in my gym gear as I go Pilates straight from work. Boss (as usual) asks if I'm off running (I go for a lunchtime walk) and I said (as usual) no, I have Pilates straight from work. So we talk about gyms. We have one next door to work and he asks (as usual) am I a member of that one. I said no, I go to the council one as it has steam room, sauna, pool and classes unlike the one next door. Oh you go to a brothel?.... Ummmmm no, but hey keep up the good work. He then goes on to tell me he uses the steam room in Rios, Belsize Park, its a swingers joint. I had to hold back my laughter and not correct him by saying Kentish Town. Strike Rios off my list of places to go!!!!!!!

A few threads have touched on a similar theme. Ie encountering someone you know, meeting your boss or another colleague in a club would seem to be relevant to that.

Personally, I'd just say hi, maybe chat politely but nothing would actually occur between us (I try not to mix work and pleasure).

Apart from anything else, I wouldn't see any problem there...nothing illegal, immoral or bringing the company into dis repute.

It's no secret among friends and colleagues that I go clubbing (and they know what kind of club) so maybe they just avoid on evenings that I may be there.

I found, a long time ago, that if you have no secrets then you can stop worrying about being found out.....it makes life so much easier and less stressful.

Shock horror, man visits swinging club! No where is that small you can't avoid them there. I've seen people I managed at the time in a club before, no one spontaneously combusted.....it was almost like we were adults enjoying an adult past time.
