Personally I don't see an act as intimate I see the feelings towards the person your doing that act with that makes it intimate

It's like making love and just having sex, its the same act

So if you can differentiate sex from making love based on how you feel about the person why can't you do it with kissing, there's a good old snog and a intimate snog

And the real one that always gets me is female half's of couples will only kiss women, not to intimate to kiss a woman but it is to kiss a man

Some people just don't enjoy kissing someone they don't know very well, some people just don't enjoy kissing and some people don't want to exchange body fluids with anyone but their partner.
