My British work colleague took me out to lunch and tonight Marc and I are going to have a bbq and watch the fireworks on tv.

Saw this on fbook....

On this day:

Captain Steve Hiller of the US Marine Corps piloted an alien space craft into the depths of outer space, carrying an armed nuclear bomb, with no intention of returning back to earth.

His mission; to destroy the alien mothership that was terrorising our world.

His bravery and courage needs to be remembered as the only reason we celebrate Independence Day.
