England Manager

So, who will it be? Who do we all want?

After hearing the man in charge of overseeing and appointing the next England manager isn't a "football man" which numpty do we think will get the job!!

For me it has to be a foreigner again. No Englishman is good enough and look what happened under McLaren and Bodgson

Let's try Borris Johnson, a change of political landscape may do him the world of good.

Hoddle didn't do a lot wrong in terms of football last time and I'm sure he has leant from the stupid comments he made on his views outside of football .

During his commentary of the England games I found I was agreeing with what he was saying about the team .

Let him run the team now and train up Gareth Southgate to take over in a few years time .

Some interesting views. I think if it is given to an Englishman then Stuart Pearce also has to be involved. I listen to Talksport and although he isn't as great manager I think he would be an excellent coach. Imagine coming in 1-2 down against Iceland and having him in the changing room!!!!!

Personally I like Klinsmann. He started the Germany project and has also got to semi finals with the USA. I couldn't give a toss that he is German either!

How are the Welsh players different? They mostly developed in the same Premier League environment as the English players yet are performing so much better

Can't remember if Ryan giggs or Dean Saunders was asked this question but the reply was "because they play like a club" not a team of individuals (or something like that.

Lets concentrate on rugby and cricket instead we are better in that,we may have invented football, but lets be honest its overrated as a sport, being england manager is a poisoned chalice, being a english football player is a one way ticket to being rich, but losing the hunger for the game. Think about it the likes of Rooney et al, football is a job now, they are getting paid to work regardless of winning or losing they still get paid. So forget football we really are awesome in rugby!

You've got to remember that every now and again you get a group of players gel together and I believe the very sad death of Gary speed brought them together and made them determined to do well out of respect.

Not taking anything away from there performances this tournament but the same country you are rightly praising for out performing England now haven't qualified for a tournament for decades.

The best guy to get in is going to be Klinsmann by far. If he get shearer, keown and Beckham as coaches maybe young Phil neville as well we could keep Southgate as u21 manager for a while longer and train him to spot young talent and be able to make them progress better than they do at the moment.

The sad thing is I really dont care. The game is morally and financially corrupt all the way to the top, i know because i have seen it firsr hand. I suspect a conference manager could do the job because in truth if you had motivated players it really isnt that hard.

"Give it to glen hoddle , with Alan shearer , Tony Adams , Rio Ferdinand working with him .best shout so far"

Glenn hoddle.. I think his time has been and gone

Alan shearer... The bit of management he's had flopped coaching wise who knows .. same with Tony Adams,

Rio Ferdinand zero experience as coach or manager ... A lot of great players have failed as coaches and managers ..

The next England manager has a few key decisions to make. What happens with Rooney.(personally he's not in my starting line up he's not going past 2018 anyway) Who's my No1 keeper..

I really hope he doesn't waste the opportunity that this young team presents.

So resonate with this. Been unfortunate to witness a few press conferences and team meatings at a variety of levels and can't say it's ever been inspiring.
