I've known that I've been going away since December ... why did it only dawn on me today that I haven't booked a car!! With 10 days to spare!!

I wasn't meaning 10 days to book one. I can book one in 5 mins ('cos I'm a Dave) but all the prices are sky high .... because I've left it so late.

Well i didn't suggest taking a fold up bike now. That would be an alternative lol.

Expedia joking apart have always been good for car hire or so i have found. But lots of on line options and its a lot cheaper than doing it over there.

make sure you get your credit card for the deposit charged in euros not pounds or you have to pay conversion fees twice when they credit back to you. Aparently they are obliged to ask you if you want euro or sterling charged but the buggers usually dont bother.
