Avoid politics and religion. Some people are overly passionate left or right wing and can ruin a good night. This has happened to me on a few occasions, on fab meets and normal dates.

I just chat about anything really. Mostly nonsense if it's the first time meeting someone and I'm extra nervous but it just helps to break the ice x

I generally avoid politics until I know someone well. Usually I have chatted and got to know someone a bit before a meet, so we often continue a conversation we were having online. Or I just ask the lady how many unsolicited cock pictures she received that day...

It depends, all sorts of stuff.

My last meet didn't involve much chat, the one before that we spent quite some time discussing the various numpties we've each encountered on here. It was illuminting.

Sometimes science, books, films, philosophy, all sorts.

It varies, very little is off the table. It entirely depends on the person and the way the conversation goes. I enjoy meeting new people and conversing with them is like getting a little snapshot of them and who they are
