Should I stay or should I go ?

Im meant to be meeting 3 guys tonight in Basingstoke arranged on here last night. Ive mailed him on here today and text him to say if I dont here from him by 6pm Ill presume its off . Question is should I still go even if I dont here from him ? If I dont turn up would that make me a timewaster ? Im getting a bit cynical in my old age lol been stood up a few times in the past Im in a bit of a dilema here lol

If you have said to him you wont come if he doesn't reply by 6pm I would stick to it.

only if thay tex and say thay are going ... some people are not real and will just say things like I have 2 sexy mates will you meet all 3 of us ...... but really its not real just somthing he gets turned on thinking about ....so only if you chat to them x jo xx i have people mailing asking me to do this xx

If he does not text by 6pm just get yourself on the motorway and get up to my place, in Cheshire. I am pretty sure I will be in and if not, I will leave a note on the door

I know it isn't going to help your situation at the moment, but I think it's wise in the course of discussing the playing field you both agree to phone each other just before setting out, to confirm you are both on the way as arranged.

Text and emails are not as reliable as a phone call. If the other person still doesnt turn up they are always in the wrong. But being stood up is something we unfortunately have to live with, inconvenient as it is.

For tonight if the guy doesn't make contact I personally would still go if it doesn't involve a lot of travel or expenditure, just incase he hadn't received my messages. If both of you turn up - brilliant. If not you're already dressed and looking gorgeous why not go into a nearby pub, and just get yourself a drink or a meal as a treat? Take a book or mag and enjoy being a confident 21st century woman who is bold enough to make her own entertainment regardless. You never know who might be in the pub!!

Thanks for all your replys the other 2 guys are guys he works with and one he lives with. Think Ill stick to the 6pm deadline lol save me getting ready and getting on a train to Bstoke He comes across in his mails as genuine, but you just can never tell can ya I could say that Im Cameron Diaz's sister would you believe me ?? haha

if he has aranged himself and the other guys and you have no way of contacting teh others, if he does not reply do not go.

if you have a way of contacting the other guys try that route see if you can find out whats happening.

If noone replies to your messages then yoru not the timewaster in this they are

Guys he works with and lives with. And they are all happy to swing. Pretty coincidental if you ask me. Seriously, definitely do not go if does not text, and hopefully you have also spoken to him and at least one of his "mates"

They are all firemen and Ive known this guy on here for a while mailing each other just not got round to meeting . Well hes got another 3 hours so guess i should give him the benefit of the doubt lol

well i had a friend whos a fireman meet him and second time was going to be me and my lovely bi girl friend and 5 of them we had been texing mailing and we got to the pub no one turned up ...... his friends at work had been on his lap-top and his phone he used for swinging and he was away on holiday we found out after he new nothing what thay had all been up too .. lol at the time we was mad but we had each other .. xx

well just got home and all I can say is they certainly aint timewasters two lovely lads who had both just finished a 12 hour shift bless um but that certainly didnt affect their performences hehehe Ill defo be going back for more firemen lifts again soon

Don't meet unless u have spoken,and i use that rule for ppl i have met online an hour,a week or 6 months ago.The net is the playground of nutters,fantasists and the plain nasty.

If they are genuine they will spend 5 minutes on the phone to prove it.
