Doh. Collect dogs from their homes, takes 2 to 3 hrs on average, walk them en mass before dropping them all home again. Them there's the leads, my wellies and waterproofs. Plus clean towels to dry them when they're home.

They've trashed my car.

Make sure it soft drive. As my first dog would always get sick in my car as it was not a smooth drive. But he was fine in my wife's car.

Vw and ford are built proof.

Had no end of build quality issues with others, hence why their cheap I guess.

Astray van is another option.

Used to drive Vauxhall vivaro, good economy and low step in at back. Ideal for short legged pooches.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Just remember that a lot of larger vans, the Transit Connect is included in this, are subject to lower speed limits than smaller car-derived-vans. Many drivers have been caught out and had points on their licence.

An ex-rac transit would be a good bet, well serviced and looked after.

As for rhe different speed limits if youre in a van!! Ive driven all over the country for quite a few years and have never heard that one before!

Some larger vehicles have tachographs and are speed limited by them or an electronic limiter but as far as im aware the speed limit is the speed limit!

There were two people on the Driver Awareness Course I went on just before Xmas last year who were caught driving at the road speed limit but exceeding the van speed limit. It depends on the van and the road and has been in force for a good 5 years, if not more! Highway code or DVLA should tell you.

You really need to look into it then as a commercial vehicle other than a car based Van (caddy Berlingo etc) are all supposed to follow lower speed limits than cars......
