My wife does burlesque and asked me this morning to pop into Go Outdoors and pick her up a riding crop as she needs one for one of her routines. I thought nothing off it until I was in the store and had taken the crop off the shelf. Now as I am sure we all would I did a few practice swings before realising how it must look and meekly putting the crop down by my side and rather self consciously walking to the front of the store to pay. Now I am pretty sure nobody was paying me the slightest bit of attention but the young man who served me certainly seemed to be smirking as he told me to take care and have a nice day, he might almost have added a wink to complete my embarrassment.

Has anybody else suddenly become very self conscious for no reason.

You should have asked a member of staff to help.... "Excuse me miss, could you please just come here and bend over".

This is the correct answer.

I apply the same logic when buying condoms, strut to the counter like you own the place, otherwise you'll feel like a teenager and not in a good way

I had a visitor the other day.

I'd been shopping before hand for some general food items. The bag had split, and there on my sofa were a large cucumber and a bottle of oil.

Just those two. No explanation.
