well no was just last min meets but that's not the point the point is if you say your going to meet someone you should meet them unlessyou have a valid reason. Not just ignore there messages when they are on the street you told them to meet you on

iv found out the hard way I guess I'm just in a mood coz wasted my time traveling to 2 different places to get to there street and be ignored

That would annoy me also !!

If I say I'm going to meet I show up, I've only pulled out of a meet once, I had a valid reason and gave them plenty of notice so they could make other plans !!

OP - it sucks mate, I've also just been stood up and it's rude, regardless of how well you know someone, the least they can do is let you know they are changing the plans.

I was on there street is what makes it worse I messaged them for the number of house and it was read but no reply on both people. I wouldn't dream of messing someone about like that!

Don't let it happen a third time.

No one condones people making arrangements and then bottling out but there are measures that you can take to reduce the chances of that happening.

Personally I wouldn't have even gone to the street without a house number to find, if your getting an address there's no reason not to give out the whole address. Sorry but to me it seems there was no notion on their part of meeting in the first place.

It's just courtesy really. I've met people who have only given a post code and then their full address when you're there.

If someone bottles it, that's cool, we've all been there, but it takes 2 mins to cancel properly. I thinks that what the OP is annoyed about.

And this is one of the reasons we always follow the advice given by most sites. Always arrange a meeting to start in a public place.

Unless I have a full address I wouldn't leave my own house, these people who say they will give you a number once you get to a street are clearly out to fuck you about, I'd never fall for that myself.

Just call it a lesson learnt and be more vigilant when selecting a meet, look out for the red flags.

Tbh I always do a coffee meet first and take it from there, if it's a no show, at least you can get a nice cuppa and a cream cake to cheer yourself up

Ah don't worry. Happens to us all. I gave had loads cancel on me at the last minute! I guess it's better than turning up and noone there but last minute cancellations are not fun after you made arrangements etc..

We have been let down on a number of occasions.. pisses us off more as we have to arrange childcare so we can play as a couple then the meet does not message or get in touch..and yes we have got to know these people..so we are then at a loose end.. luckily.. it's normally a weekend meet so we just go to a club. But I understand your frustration OP xx
